Credentialing Specialist (Contract Position)

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Central (CST) or Eastern (EST) Time Zones)

Contract Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent hire

Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist for a 3-month contract position, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. This position is ideal for individuals who are skilled in managing credentialing processes in a healthcare setting and are looking for a flexible, remote work opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain annual credentials for all staff.
• Credential all new hires, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Conduct thorough audits of credentialing processes and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding credentialing statuses and requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all credentialing-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Credentialing Specialist in the healthcare sector.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in relevant credentialing software and tools.
• Candidates must be located in the Central (CST) or Eastern (EST) Time Zone for coordination purposes.
